Peace. Tranquillity. An oasis of calm in the heart of a vibrant city. Working in partnership with the York City Council & Conservation experts, Hungate (York) Regeneration Ltd is creating a new natural habitat, the Kingspool Nature Reserve along the banks of the River Foss.

With an otter holt, native mature trees and landscaping designed to encourage wildflowers, grasses, animals and birds, the nature reserve will be a safe haven for a variety of wildlife and a unique addition to the Hungate development.

Working with nature, the riverbank and nature reserve encourage a diverse range of trees, plants and wildlife.
